About Us

The idea of Old Hong Kong was first conceived in February 2006 by Ms Victoria Li, who is passionate towards the food industry especially authentic Hong Kong style cooking and cuisines. The first flagship restaurant - Old Hong Kong Tea House - was opened in August 2006 occupying 14,000 sq ft at Katong Village previously the Joo Chiat Police Station along East Coast Road. At that time, it is believed to be the largest “Hong Kong Cha Chen Teng” in Singapore.


Our restaurants emphasize authentic Hong Kong style cooking and use the best ingredients as much as possible in order to bring out the true taste and the original presentation of every dish.  Regularly, we import ingredients from Hong Kong and our senior chefs are mostly from Hong Kong. We do not compromise our food quality. All the food processing steps are done in-house.


In September 2008, we started our second outlet at Square 2 – Old Hong Kong Kitchen – where we pioneered the concept of a mix of old and new Hong Kong cuisines and cooking style. Through innovation and uncompromised quality, we receive very favorable feedback and attract crowds at our outlet.


Our third outlet is at Marina Square Foodloft where launched the Old Hong Kong Express to cater for the busy office workers and shopping goers. We staged the Trolley Noodle and other Hong Kong specialties to provide a range of value for money and unique choice of snacks and drinks.
